A Full Day in Grand World, Phu Quoc

From a quiet morning walk along the Venice canal to golden hour at the clock tower and a night of lights and shows — how to spend a whole day in the city that never sleeps, just 3 minutes from Le Palmier.

Le Palmier · 26 September 2026

Grand World is only 1.2 km from Le Palmier Phu Quoc Hotel — about three minutes by car, or a pleasant walk. It is easy to treat it as an evening-only destination, but the festival city changes character through the day, and each hour has its own reason to visit.

Morning: the canal before the crowds

Arrive early and the Venice canal is at its calmest: the water is still, the pastel façades are reflected almost perfectly and the bridges are free for photos. It is the best time for a slow walk with a coffee in hand.

Afternoon: colourful streets and the clock tower

As the sun softens, wander the side streets lined with painted façades and balconies, then make your way to the clock tower. Golden hour turns the square warm and amber, and a gondola ride on the canal is the most relaxing way to see it.

Evening: lights, shows and street food

After dark Grand World comes fully alive. Strings of lights cover the streets, seafood restaurants fill their terraces and the big shows begin — the Tinh Hoa Viet Nam performance and the Sac Mau Venice water show are the highlights. When you are ready to rest, your room is only a few minutes away.
